DISCUSSION ON NEW DATA COLLECTION METHODS BY INTERNATIONAL EXPERTS
ON GRUSHIN CONFERENCE 2021
The discussion on the change in data collection methods stimulated by COVID-19 pandemic, transition from face-to-face in-home interviews to other distant modes in different countries and regions was held within Grushin Conference on May 18, 2021 in online format. The participants of the discussion are leading international scholar in cross-national survey methodology Tom Smith (NORC, General Social Survey - GSS, USA), Marita Carballo (President of WAPOR 2019-2020, Argentina), Anna Andreenkova (CESSI, Russian social survey - RSS, PostSoviet trends survey, Russia), Vera Lomazzi (European Value survey - EVS, Germany), Kasiet Ismanova (Central Asia Barometer, Kyrgyzstan), Braizat Fares (NAMA, Jordan).
The leader of the session was Tatiana Karabchuk (University of OAE).
